Part of roman mythology. The centaur is a creature that has the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse. They are liminal beings, caught between the two natures, embodied in contrasted myths, both as a embodiment of untamed nature, as in their battle with lapiths (their kin), or conversely as teachers, like chiron.

The boogeyman we all know this guy from bed time stories. He has no one identity and is described as the embodiment of terror. He appears to punish children for their bad deeds. Me personally as a child always thought he was a goopy monster made out of boogies.
