Inspired by the hit 1950s BBC radio serial Journey Into Space – a NASA-style mission patch for Jet Morgan and the crew of Luna on their voyage to the moon. The design is based loosely on the old NASA Apollo patches, with an attempt to make them more British, and more like the kind of thing someone in the 1950s might design. Hence the gratuitous use of Gill Sans and nice retro feel to the graphics.
