The Faces Of Death design from Hellwood is inspired by the cult classic mondo horror film that passed into legend through a thousand schoolyard whispers. Released in 1978, the film claimed to portray explicit scenes of real life death and dismemberment and often featured the caveat that it was banned in 40 countries. Despite having dated terribly and had the majority of the scenes included exposed as having been faked, Faces Of Death still reminds us of an earlier time before the internet made such horrors commonplace.
