As the waters get warmer the chlorophyll blue green algae blossoms and blooms creating ~ a more 'rich jade green' coloured water rather than darker brown waters blacky waters within the estuary... These are plentiful times for its wildlife, but not always like this, especially during 'the four seasons' of change within UK...

The Severn bore is a tidal bore seen on the tidal reaches of the River Severn in south western England. It is formed when the rising tide moves into the funnel-shaped Bristol Channel and Severn Estuary and the surging water forces its way upstream in a series of waves, as far as Gloucester and beyond.

Bideford Quay, Devon, UK is a beautiful town with a tidal river in black and white. The river Torridge widens at this point to form an estuary. You can see a village on the east side of the river torridge. Torridge bridge spanning the river for 650 metre's was built in 1987.

The Forth Rail Bridge here as a digitally produced stylised graphic drawing. This was produced from my original image captured just before passing under the bridge. This is the oldest of the three bridges which cross the Firth of Forth in the west of Scotland connecting Fife on the north bank and West Lothian in the south. It was voted Scotland's greatest man-made structure in 2016 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
