Description: LimeWire was a peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) platform that launched with its own client in 2000. LimeWire utilized the gnutella network and BitTorrent protocol to allow users share content by uploading and downloading content through the client. LimeWire offered both a free version and a paid enhanced version called LimeWire Pro, which, somewhat ironically, could be acquired through the regular LimeWire software as paid users shared their copies of Pro with the platform. LimeWire had a solid ten-year run before a lawsuit back by music industry heavyweights resulted in the company, and it's software client, being shut down in 2010.

Description: SilverHawks is a carton series developed by Rankin/Bass Productions in 1986 as a space-based equivalent of their previous series, Thunder Cats. As with earlier works, the animated series was accompanied by an action figure line as well as a comic book series. The plot finds a bionic space enforcer called Commander Stargazer recruited by the SilverHawks, cybernetic heroes who fight evil. Specifically, they fight Mon*Star, an escaped alien crime boss who transforms into an enormous armor-plated creature with the help of Limbo's Moonstar. Joining Mon*Star in his villainy is an intergalactic mob. The series ran for a single season of 65 episodes, and the comics and toy line didn't come out until the show was in syndication the following year.
Description: The Great Space Coaster was a live action children's television show that was broadcast in first-run syndication from 1981 to 1986. The show was about three young singers who are brought to a habitable asteroid in space called Coasterville by a clown named Baxter who pilots the "space coaster," a roller coaster-like spaceship. The asteroid is populated by strange-looking, wise-cracking puppet characters such as Goriddle Gorilla, Knock Knock the Woodpecker, Edison the Elephant, and Gary Gnu (host of "The Gary Gnu Show"). Baxter is forever on the run from M.T. Promises, a nefarious ringmaster who plans to re-capture Baxter and return him to the circus he worked at before he escaped. Each episode ended with a different life lesson.
