Based on, The Phantom of the Opera miniseries,1990 US-produced. Based on Gaston Leroux's eponymous book, written in 1910, the story was adapted for television and aired in the US in 1990 and Germany in 1991. The phantom, Erik, was played by Charles Dance. That's why he is known by his fandom as Cherik.
