In 2015, SeaWorld San Diego took on the California Coastal Commission to expand the killer whales exhibit. SeaWorld gave signs that stated "Blue World YES!" to all individuals supporting their mission to build the Blue World Project.

So, you watched Blackfish. No matter how you feel about the movie itself, the facts are against holding large, complex cetaceans captive. Please don't support marine circuses and their ongoing abuses. Encourage businesses that currently feature captive cetaceans to update their business models - by taking your business elsewhere until they get with the times. If you truly care about these animals, support organisations working to protect them and their homes -- and if you want to see them, please go respectfully view them in their natural habitats!
