Following up on my "She needed a hero" design, I combine real and fictional women heroes here to positively impact the coming battles with the patriarchy. Half of the artist's proceeds from this design will be donated to The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN).

The king is a playing card with a picture of a king on it. The king is usually the highest-ranking face card. In French playing cards and tarot decks, the king immediately outranks the queen. In Italian and Spanish playing cards, the king immediately outranks the knight. In German and Swiss playing cards, the king immediately outranks the Ober. In some games, the king is the highest-ranked card; in others, the ace is higher. The king card is the oldest and most universal court card. It most likely originated in Persian Ganjifeh where kings are depicted as seated on thrones and outranking the viceroy cards which are mounted on horses.

Jack of Clubs T-Shirt. Playing Cards Tee Shirts. Cool playing card designs. Deck of cards t shirt. A is a playing card which, in traditional French and English decks, pictures a man in the traditional or historic aristocratic dress generally associated with Europe of the 16th or 17th century. The usual rank of a Jack, within its suit, plays as if it were an 11 (that is, between the 10 and the Queen). As the lowest face (or "court") card, the Jack often represents a minimum standard -- for example, many poker games require a minimum hand of a pair of Jacks ("Jacks or better") in order to continue play. In the English pattern, the Jack and the other face cards represent no one in particular, in contrast to the historical French practice, in which each court card is said to represent a particular historical or mythological personage. Lancelot or Judas Maccabeus for the Jack of Clubs.

Ace of Clubs Playing Card T-Shirt. Great design for all the lovers of Poker, Texas Hold 'em, Blackjack, Bridge and other card games. Illustrated Ace of Clubs Tee. An ace is a playing card. In the standard French deck, an ace has a single suit symbol (a heart, diamond, spade, or club) located in the middle of the card, sometimes large and decorated, especially in the case of the Ace of Spades. This embellishment on the Ace of Spades started when King James VI of Scotland and I of England required an insignia of the printing house to be printed on the Ace of Spades. This insignia was necessary for identifying the printing house and stamping it as having paid the new stamp tax. Although this requirement was abolished in 1960, the tradition has been kept by many card makers. In other countries the stamp and embellishments are usually found on ace cards; clubs in France, diamonds in Russia, and hearts in Genoa because they have the most blank space.
