Safe Inspired by the #SafetyPin Twitter campaign. A simple way to show solidarity with Britain’s immigrant/migrant communities. Following a rise of hate crimes in the UK the safety pin is now being used by many people to show they are “a safe person to sit next to on a bus, walk next to on a street, even have a conversation with” Wearing an empty safety pin is a badge to symbolise solidarity against racism – and it lets any potential targets know that the wearer is a friendly face.
