Without question, Re-bar was one of the Seattle's most historic nightclubs, hosting countless local and touring bands over its three decade run. Born into the grunge scene in 1990, the building it called home at the foot of Capitol Hill was built in 1930, and certainly playing into the venue's quirky charm. When it wasn't hosting live music, this anchor of the alternative arts scene presented work from local artists, theatre and comedy, and held rocking dance nights. Re-bar was routinely filled to the brim with hipsters, freaks, geeks, artists, gays, intellectuals, punks, rockers, ravers, and clubbers – a true showcase of the eclectic diversity of Seattle. The fact that they made some mean cocktails was just the icing on the cake.

I walked around Capitol Hill, a few blocks from the Capitol two days after the riots on January 6th, 2021. It was peaceful as all protesters had left. January 2021, iphone7plus

The year was 1994—a good time for music, and an especially good time for music in Seattle. Indie bands were playing, and people actually wanted to hear them; national and global acts were touring and actually wanted to stop in Seattle and THE place to play was the Moe or more formally, Mo'Roc'N Café. The design celebrates the long lost Club Moe with it's vintage clown logo which might seem a bit odd, but was right at home with the venue's eclectic interior design. Featuring plenty of cracks, chips and fade, Mo'Roc'N Café tee looks like you snagged it back in the day at a Mudhoney show or something.

Is the Donald peering at his paymaster and master manipulator or is Putin otherwise looking at himself all but in-person as the de facto next president of the United States? What if the Donald was bamboozled into running for president under the guise of pumping his brand to strengthen his prospects with the Kremlin for financing Trump Tower Moscow when Putin actually had plans to seat him in the Oval Office. Prior to ‘actually running’ in 2015, Trump either considered or flirted with running in 1987, 2000, 2004, 2011 and 2013.
