Drinks Kids Hoodies
Description: Tucked into the side of the Moore Hotel (built in 1907), this old school dive bar bordering Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood first opened it’s doors in 1939. They served up cheap (and stiff!) drinks from nice, but no-nonsense bartenders in a colorful, no-fuss, vintage atmosphere. It was the kind of place where bike messengers, old-timers, metal heads, hipsters, and oddball downtown characters sat side-by-side in harmony. They also had live music, dart boards, pool tables, a killer happy hour, and strangely, really good food. It closed suddenly in Spring 2016 and locals have lamented the loss of “the last real bar in Seattle” ever since.
Description: The Falstaff Brewing Corporation was a major American brewery located in St. Louis, Missouri. With roots in the 1838 Lemp Brewery of St. Louis, the company was renamed after the Shakespearean character Sir John Falstaff in 1903. Production peaked in 1965 with 7,010,218 barrels brewed, and then dropped 70% in the next 10 years. While its smaller labels linger on today, its main label Falstaff Beer went out of production in 2005. The rights to the brand are currently owned by Pabst Brewing Company.

Description: Cerveza Chango is a beer featured in Robert Rodriguez films such as Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn and Sin City. The beer is named after Chango, the Santeria Orisha of thunder, lightning, and gunpowder. You know it's a shady place if they serve Chango. Chango is a poor-quality beer. It's not improved by the facts that the staff at the Tarasco Bar not only serves it flat and warm, but also pees in each keg.

Description: El Lugar de Papá (Papa's Place) opened their doors in 1936 in the town of Mezcala, in Jalisco, Mexico, and has been going strong ever since. Originally just a bar where locals and those passing through town could enjoy the region's finest tequilas, Papa eventually added a small kitchen, and began offering an array of traditional tacos and other small plate menu items. Even though Papa's sons and later, grandsons took over the business, it has always remained Papa's Place, so if you find yourself passing through Mezcala, don't miss an opportunity to check out the oldest continuously operating bar in all of Jalisco.
