Artwork on the campus of Florida Southern College. Florida Southern has more on site Frank Lloyd Wright architecture then anywhere in the world. Frank's work on campus is known as "The Child of the Sun" collection. The art depicted here (Not by Frank) seems to be a mix between the sun and the cross and stands close to the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel on campus.

The Southern Cross (Crux) constellation. The four brightest stars seen here identify the familiar asterism of the Southern Cross. Alpha Crucis (lower bottom right), the brightest star in the constellation, is a double system formed by two stars with similar magnitudes (1.4 and 1.9) only 4.4 arcseconds apart. Crux is the smallest constellation in the sky covering only 68 square degrees. The Coal Sack Nebula (round, dark at lower centre left) is one of the main features in Crux. It is a relatively nearby (500 light years) dark nebula and is formed by a cloud of interstellar dust which absorbs the radiation emitted by the stars in this area.

Yacht rock (originally known as the West Coast sound or adult-oriented rock is a broad music style and aesthetic commonly associated with soft rock, one of the most commercially successful genres from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, and disco, common stylistic traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies. Its name, coined in 2005 by the makers of the online video series Yacht Rock, was derived from its association with the popular Southern Californian leisure activity of boating.

The emu in the sky. At the Elvina Engraving Site in the Kuring-Gai Chase National Park, Sydney, is an engraving of the emu in the sky, a constellation recognised by many Aboriginal groups across Australia, that is formed of dark clouds in the Milky Way, rather than the stars as in most constellations. When the constellation is above the carving in the rock the local Aboriginal People knew it was time to collect emu eggs.
