O.D. Ottesen (1816-1892) was a Danish Painter of still life predominantly floral arrangements. Ottesen studied under J.G. Berg at the Academy in Copenhagen between 1834 and 1843. He became a member of the Academy in 1866 and professor in 1874.

First done with Motion Computing jseries graphics tablet on Firealpaca (software) in November 2013, then touched up and improved on in December 2018 by Xanthe P Russell / dangerliesbeforeyou Original piece (in 2013) was traced, but all additions and improvements done in 2018 were 100% freehand drawn.
