A little watercolour style doodle I painted a few weeks ago...
The word anarchy comes from the ancient Greek ἀναρχία (anarchia), which combines ἀ (a), "not, without" and ἀρχή (arkhi), "ruler, leader, authority." Anarchy, in its truest form, has nothing to do with violence and chaos and everything to do with self-governance; nothing to do with wilfully destructive behaviour and everything to do with a profound sense of personal responsibility and with nurturing the capacity for such.
Anarchy is NOT 'every man for himself' - it is, "We are all in this together - let's behave accordingly." I think anyone who doesn't resonate with that notion is suffering from a right old case of Stockholm Syndrome.
Me, I’m a free spirit. Screw the patriarchy. Screw auntoritarian regimes, Screw fascism masquerading as democracy (which in any case is simply another word for ‘mob rules’). Here’s to individual responsibility and commone sense, non-coercive co-operation – bring on the New Paradigm ❤️❤️❤️
