Constable Edward Mostyn Webb-Bowen was a member of the New South Wales police force in the late 1870s who was stationed at Gundagai. In November 1879 he was shot and paralysed while fighting Captain Moonlite's gang at Wantabadgery station and died a week later. He was posthumously promoted for his bravery.
