The Hatbox Ghost is a character from The Haunted Mansion that was removed from the attraction shortly after it opened. Despite this, he has appeared in various media related to the attraction. He officially returned to the attraction on May 9, 2015.

One of the most infamous of our 999 happy haunts has returned... well, most of him.

The Catbox Ghost! A hauntingly perfect parody! 1/2 of all profits go to help end FIP in cats and kittens. I am working with ZenByCat.org to help fight this horrible disease in honor of our baby kitty, Rocket, that we lost to FIP.
