Ancient Egyptian art was an obsession for me when I was younger and this depicts the journey of the soul through the netherworld to the Hall of Maat. There their purity would be the determining factor in whether they would be allowed to enter the Kingdom of Osiris.
This painting is an example of a technique I used in the mid 90s. Using a blow dryer & splattering, moving & manipulating paint around the canvas to create an abstract background. Then Through a process of free association I would paint what I saw or imagined in the abstraction.

As you know, on Halloween, the border between our world and the spirit world becomes thinner. And if you are lucky, then perhaps you will find without fatal consequences the tunnel that connects our world and one of the secret castles of the RunCatRun universe. Their dungeons and crypts hide countless treasures and amazing things. And, of course, each of it is entitled to someone who will guard it. The fortunate ones can even take a peek at Ghost cat, the Keeper of the Crypt, at the door to the Gray world. He has incredible magical powers that allow his eyes to shine with magnificent sky blue light even in this colorless monochrome world.
