Description: For Death, we decided that The Morrigan was the perfect character. In this card, we see The Morrigan, her raven’s wings in motion as she hovers above her crowd of victims. She is the Celtic goddess of birth and death, and as such is the perfect embodiment of what this card symbolises. Also known as the Phantom Queen, The Morrigan is more well-known for her relationship with death and the battlefield. Her association with battle implies that she is an indiscriminate bringer of death. The inevitable cycle of life and death cannot be controlled or evaded. Her presence in this card serves as a reminder of that all important truth. -- She is dressed in black as a metaphor for mourning. Around her neck is a necklace depicting a white flower...
