So, growing up I knew of two different famous men with the same name. Mike Myers, the comedian and actor best known for "Wayne's World" and ,of course, the "Austin Powers" movies. Then, there is Michael Myers, the serial killer in the "Halloween" movies. When I first saw a Halloween VHS tape with the name Michael Myers on it as a kid, I was confused for a few seconds. I thought, "Does Mr. Myers have a night job I don't know about? I thought he was a comedic actor." Well, I found out they were two completely different people. One is fictional and the other is not. This design is inspired by my childhood, especially when I watched "Goosebumps" and read the books all the time! It is inspired by one of my favorite stories called "The Haunted Mask"! I also implemented purple and green because that is what I associate "Goosebumps" with. Please enjoy!

Another horror-inspired design that features one of original woodcut block prints of the Count himself, Dracula!

This design really illustrates one of my passions, and that is horror movies. I love them! I am especially fond of the old movie monsters like Dracula, the Wolf Man, and in this case, Gillman, better known as the Creature from the Black Lagoon. What is also very special about this design is it showcases part of a woodcut block print that I created of Gillman. When it comes to the world of art and design, I believe that sometimes it is best to step away from the computer to get some of the the best inspiration.
