Orcas are a strong symbol of family. They live in huge “pods” sometimes of 40 family members! The females lead the pod, passing it down from generation to generation. They have great respect towards their grandmothers and mothers. Keep this piece to encourage strength within your family. This piece was created using pencils and micron pens.

Better than one!

The Inuksuk is a stone marker or cairn used by people of the arctic region. Originally intended for navigation, travel routes, fishing places, hunting grounds, or to mark a food cache, these stone piles evolved into a cultural symbol of the north. They can represent “guidance and unity” and are often built in the shape of a human figure.

Deer represents gentleness. Keep deer when you need to approach something delicately. They will also remind you to be gentle with yourself. This piece was created using colored pencils and micron pens.

Pear With Native Pattern.

Bear reminds us to take sometime to relax, step away and collect ourselves. Keep bear close when you need protection or quiet time to "hibernate". This piece was created using microns pens and colored pencils. I used micron pens and prismacolor colored pencils. I wanted to use natural colors for the bear so I stuck with various shades of brown, keeping it “earthy”.

Reindeer, or Caribou, represent travel, stamina and resourcefulness. They are also considered the protector of all animals. Keep reindeer close when you have a big trip planned! This piece was created using colored pencils, alcohol markers and micron pens.

The Orca or Killer Whale is the guardian of the sea and the symbol of longevity. Orcas reside in North Pacific Waters and are known as “King of the Oceans”, “Great Spirit of the Sea” and “Ruler of the Underworld”. The Orca is the symbol of health, long life and wild untamed spirit. This totemic image in black, gold and red is a digital representation of traditional geometric design.
