In 2015 I invented a character for a piece called Mister Hipster who is essentially a hipster superhero. I created this piece for the Linden Postcard Show. I decided it would be fun to create an imaginary book cover for the story of the ultimate showdown between the Craft Beer Crusader and his ultimate foe - Mainstream. Mainstream is a shadowy shape-shifter that is constantly evolving and thwarting Mister Hipster's campaign of individuality.

Alot of us have "Resting Bitchface." It's a NOT SO SERIOUS EPIDEMIC that has plagued women for ages, and some people just don't understand that it doesn't mean we're bitches, we just are born to look like we are. SO QUIT ASSUMING :)

Numbers - such as monetary figures or statistics - without context are dangerous and often used to mislead and/or sensationalize. This is a problem both in politics and mainstream media, and science reporting. Spread awareness!

In 1973 Rosenhan and his pals conducted a number of psychological experiments to determine the validity of diagnosis of mental patients. They sent participants to various mental hospitals who all complained of the same symptoms, (hearing voices). None of them were actually insane but all were diagnosed with schizophrenia. All were admitted and made to take anti-psychotic drugs. They then behaved normally and said they no longer had symptoms. There were released but were charged with continuing to take medication and were diagnosed with their condition in remission. The study showed that there appeared to be no way for the doctors to tell the genuinely insane from the sane when diagnosing their condition. Concerned the mental institutions asked form more people to be sent so they could improve their diagnosis process and detect the impostors. Following the request they identified lots of people they suspected of being impostors and reported back to Rosenhan their findings. In response Rosenhan told them he had sent no one!

Part 4 of my psychology designs, Schrodinger, Milgram, Zimbardo and now Pavlov. Pavlov was a Russian Psychologist who is most noted for his work with dogs. He came up with the theory of Classical conditioning (also known as Pavlovian or respondent conditioning) it’s a learning process in which an innate response to a potent stimulus comes to be elicited in response to a previously neutral stimulus; this is achieved by repeated pairings of the neutral stimulus with the potent stimulus. If that makes no sense then it has lots to do with dribbly dogs and a bell
