Peter Davison was the fifth Doctor. Since his predecessor, Tom Baker, was the Doctor for eight years, the fifth Doctor was developed almost in absolute contrast to the fourth Doctor. He was more cautious, more serious, younger and less eccentric. He wore a Cricket uniform.
