Always a Meieival Knights fan, I always loved the iconic crests and logos used by the various Orders. This is my redesign of the always cool looking German Teutonic Order circa 1500's.

The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem commonly the Teutonic Order, is a Catholic religious order founded as a military order c. 1192 in Acre, Kingdom of Jerusalem. The Teutonic Order was formed to aid Christians on their pilgrimages to the Holy Land and to establish hospitals. Its members have commonly been known as the Teutonic Knights, having a small voluntary and mercenary military membership, serving as a crusading military order for protection of Christians.

Crusader and Knights Templar Designl with the Knights Templar cross or emblem and there motto "Non nobis Domine non nobis sed Nomini Tuo da gloriam". (Not to us, O Lord, but to your name from ‘glory.)

Traditionally attributed to Godfrey of Bouillon, this cross was used by rulers of the Kingdom of Jerusalem and are traditionally interpreted as representing the five wounds of Christ.

Helfen, wehren, heilen/to help, to defend, to heal – the motto of the Teutonic Knight Order.

In 1120 CE Baldwin II, the king of the Kingdom of Jerusalem (r. 1118-1131 CE), gave the knights his palace, the former Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount of Jerusalem, for use as their headquarters. The building was commonly referred to as ‘The Temple of Solomon' and so the brotherhood quickly became known as ‘the Order of the Knights of the Temple of Solomon' or simply the ‘Templars’.
