Celebrate Notre Dame Football’s return to Independence with this incredibly strong shirt. 2020 was a historical year for the world and for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Irish joined a conference in football for the first time in its existence. That ACC was the obvious choice as the rest of Notre Dame’s athletic teams (besides the reining Big 10 champion hockey team) are in that conference — and the presidents of those institutions were more than happy to add more Notre Dame games to its lineup.
