Description: The franchise was established in 1961 as the Chicago Packers based in Chicago, Illinois, and were renamed to Chicago Zephyrs the following season. In 1963, they relocated to Baltimore, Maryland and became the Baltimore Bullets, taking the name from a previous team of the same name.
Description: Remembering Gino's Hamburgers. Gino's Hamburgers was a fast-food restaurant chain founded in Baltimore, Maryland by Baltimore Colts defensive end Gino Marchetti and running back Alan Ameche, along with their close friends Joe Campanella and Louis Fischer, in 1957. The chain had 359 company-owned locations when the Marriott Corporation acquired it in 1982. The restaurant was known for hamburgers such as the Sirloiner, which was made from sirloin steak, the Jumbo Gino, which was very similar to the Whopper and the Gino Giant, which predated and later competed with the Big Mac. The company's jingle, played during radio advertisements in the early years was "Everybody goes to Gino's, 'cause Gino's is the place to go!"
Description: The Baltimore Bullets were a professional basketball team based in Baltimore. The Bullets competed in the American Basketball League, the Basketball Association of America, and the National Basketball Association. In 1973, the team moved to the Washington metropolitan area and changed its name first to the Capital Bullets, then the following season to Washington Bullets. In 1997, they rebranded themselves as the Wizards.
Description: The Baltimore Bullets were an American Basketball League (1944–47) team, and later, a Basketball Association of America (1947–49), and (beginning in 1949, following the BAA's absorption of the National Basketball League) a National Basketball Association team based in Baltimore. The team folded November 27, 1954 with a 3–11 record, making the Bullets the last NBA franchise to do so, as of 2018. Out of all defunct NBA teams, the Bullets were members of the association for the longest time and the only defunct team to win a championship. Later, the franchise was established in 1961 as the Chicago Packers based in Chicago, Illinois. In 1963, they relocated to Baltimore, Maryland and became the Baltimore Bullets.
