Based in New York City, Vista Home Video was a rather short-lived distributor that operated between 1985 and 1988, releasing about 20 titles during that time period. Notable releases include the horror titles Diary of the Dead, Howling III, and The Crazies.

Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca is a 1940 American romantic psychological thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. The screenplay is by Robert E. Sherwood and Joan Harrison and is based on the novelof the same name by Daphne du Maurier. Eliminators is a low budget 1986 science fiction action film about a pilot who crashes and nearly dies, leading to a mad scientist turning him in a 'mandroid' time travel test pilot. Mandroid goes on the run, and meets a scientist, a riverboat guide, and a ninja. They band together to stop the mad scientist from traveling back in time and taking over the world. The whole thing is pretty bonkers, and while it's not that good, even as a B-movie, it actually did ok at the box office. In recent years, Eliminators has become a cult classic by cinephiles and VHS collectors alike, and is often screened at B-movie festivals and events.

In 1980's Friday The 13th, a young woman named Annie is trying to get from the fictional town of Crystal Lake to Camp Crystal Lake. She enters a diner and asks the locals how far the camp is, and ends up accepting a ride from a trick driver named Enos who says the camp is about 20 miles out. Enos drives for Elston Oil Supply out of Stanhope, New Jersey, and is heading out that way, and can take her about half way. He's also the last normal person Annie will meet in her short life. Along the way, Enos tells her about Barry and Claudette's murder, the boy that drowned in 1957, a series of fires later on, and the water going bad in 1962. He suggests that she quit, but Annie tells him that she can't, and he eventually drops her off in Hope, NJ.

A co-production between the United States and United Kingdom, the film is the sixth film adaptation of John Willard's 1922 play of the same name. This Il Gatto E Il Canarino design is based on the Italian release of the film.

Zardoz is a 1974 feature film by John Boorman that was set to be a blockbuster, but ended up leaving many movie goers and critics alike confused. The deeper than average sci-fi's poor reception was blamed on people's failure to understand Boorman's analogies and philosophical statements, though many agree that it was just too weird for the masses. The film's singular vision of a dystopic future in 2293 that includes giant, flying stone heads, immortal rich people, and a scene in which a bunch of impotent people show Sean Connery smut and watch in hopes of seeing him get a boner. The film is a genuinely quirky trip into a future that is hard to describe, which is most likely the reason it's become something of a cult classic over the years.

Class of 1984 is a thriller film that ruffled plenty of feathers when it was released in 1982, resulting in the film receiving various 18+ ratings as well as being banned in several countries. Today, the movie is considered an '80s exploitation classic, thanks to the over the top '80s fashions and period correct soundtrack. The story focuses on a new teacher as he arrives at his new school, only to find out he's gotten more than he bargained for. The school is overrun with graffiti, vandalism, violence, drugs, and gangs. Long story short, he has to take matters into his own hands to stop the gang who has chosen to cross some rather serious lines.

Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks is a 1976 sexploitation women in prison film, and the first sequel to Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS. Despite the fact that Ilsa was killed at the conclusion of the notorious debut film, she returns (seemingly unaged) decades later as the strutting headmistress of a sadistic charm school for a power-mad sheik's harem of sex slaves. She masterminds a conspiracy to turn her trainees into veritable sex bombs--they explode upon orgasm--and auctions them off to her master's rivals. Campier than the first film, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks still offers its share of sick torture scenes and brutal violence, earning its place in the annals of sexploitation cinema history.
