Description: The Pike in Long Beach was a seaside amusement area that offered a variety of entertainment options to the public. The streets were bustling with a mix of locals, sailors, and sea merchants who made Long Beach their port of call. The Pike had everything from bathhouses and arcades to food stands and fortune-tellers, and of course, tattoo parlors. At its height, The Pike was home to a dozen tattoo parlors and had quite a reputation for being a seedy destination.
