In 1967, Patrick McGoohan created and starred in THE PRISONER for Everyman Films. Set in a dangerous retirement home for secret agents, its surrealist social commentary remains apt for the surveillance states of today.

Episodes covered various plots from spy fiction with elements of science fiction, allegory and psychological drama. It was produced by Everyman Films for distribution by Lew Grade's ITC Entertainment company.
