We all know that Granny White doesn't actually *have* a last name, but when pressed, Mama makes do.

She might be dead, but she ain't done. The titular Mama of Build Mama a Coffin is brought to life by the skilled hand of Darcy Rose Morgan.

Pleasant Evenings began its life as a thriving parlor house in the early 1900s in the hills of east Tennessee. The Walker family took great pride in creating the best brothel east of the Mississippi, until that business with the The Railroad Man and the local magistrate. This lovely design features the cat of said cathouse, one Vespertillio, companion and friend to Ellie Walker.

These yarns were spun to teach you to stay safe and mind common sense and most importantly your mama. The stories that get lost though — the ones hardly nobody ever lived to tell — were often just blunt and simple warnings: There is darkness here: fear it. Trust those who can see through it and you might live to see the dawn. Or then again… maybe not.

The doctor, in the time-honoured tradition of men who had been exposed as incompetent, had promptly called them both witches and called for their blood, and thus Edyth and Catherine Dooley had taken their daughter and set out to find a quieter life in the mountains far from the good folks of Williamsburg." Family, come rally round. Aliya Johnson is the voice of Mercy Boggs Carter in Build Mama a Coffin. Aliya's husband, Cody, was in a horrific motorcycle accident. So in the midst of the pandemic we have a family's breadwinner hospitalized with grievous bodily harm. Every last dollar we make off of this original design drawn by Aliya herself will go to help with medical, household, whatever kind of bills the family needs help with. The dark can make family out of any of us so lets come together.

With help from Jékksyn Orilyn Ícaro (@feathersoficarus on insta) we get to pay a little tribute to the cervine sassypants, the bringer of darkness and d'awwww. The Beast whose name sounds like Horn-ed Head but is not. This will be a limited run and will probably be gone when summer is. Get yours now family.
