Redondo Beach, California. This is where I grew up. As the decades pass it is STILL beautiful and inspiring, NOT crowded even in Summer (Ssshhh!) and a wonderful place to bike ride up the path which stretches from Palos Verdes to Venice. Spent many a day on this pier fishing as a child, and Tony's Restaurant is the best!
