Gothic Flamingo is an art print I created using a digital gothic style of painting. This style creates strong brush strokes in earthen tones creating an old world look to the final art print. The setting is the flamingo exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo. These tropical birds have such an elegant and aristocratic look, that I thought using this technique to create that old world look and feel would highlight that factor.
