Oyster Hut is an art print I created using a fauvism oil technique. This technique focuses on abstract brush strokes and bold surreal colors creating a very contemporary look. The setting is an oyster farm on San Juan Island located in the Pacific Northwest. The farm itself is located just outside of Roche Harbor in a protected bay. This old building was being used as a storage facility and a focal point for customers purchasing oysters.
