Description: An analog collage exploring gender & fluidity - a man's face on a woman's body with clothing that is non gender specific. Basically, the way everything fits with each other, it's a reminder that a lot of the social constructs we believe to be rigid, are not and never have been. Blue was for girls & pink was for boys pre-1940s, men wore heels historically and skirts, so why hold onto rigid boxes of self and other identification when to let it all go frees us all to be ourselves?
Description: I made this because I love the proportions being out of balance but still somehow looking 'right.' Influenced by the Maasai people and their insane ability to jump up to 3' vertically, which I cannot do and frankly can barely jump 2" vertically.
