This design mimics a soviet style vision test in eye doctors' offices. The ophthalmologist would point to a certain letter and listen to whether a patient would read it correctly. This design with Russian letters actually reads "One should compare themselves less to other people". It is kind of a metaphor. You try hard to read the last lines and to add all the letters together to get the meaning only to realize that it tells you that you shouldn't do it and that you shouldn't care about what stuff other people have.

A person with red deficiency (protanopia) will only see the orange parts of the word, while those with green deficiency (deuteranopia) will only see the red parts of the word.
