In 1975 Manila, one of the buildings that became iconic until it was demolished and redesigned in 2000's was called 'Virra Mall'; its wide, glass-panelled, wedged-pyramid canopy framework acting as a natural greenhouse for the surrounding upper-level plantation underneath served as the mall's iconic structure. The re-interpretation of its logo is a tribute to that by-gone era of modern architecture influence fostered in the Philippine capital.
