Lieutenant Colonel Percival "Percy" Fawcett was a British geographer, archaeologist, and explorer of South America. In 1925 Percy Fawcett embarked on an expedition into the Amazon in search of the Lost City of Z. Fawcett disappeared during the expedition and the lost city of Z was never found.
