Kuat-Entralla Engineering was the manufacturing company that built the Resurgent-class Battlecruisers used by the First Order. The manufacturing company spawned from the notable Kuat Drive Yards, who had worked with many factions such as the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Republic.

Raxus Prime was a highly industrial planet covered with immense factories, sealed living habitats, streams of superheated run-off water, rough-hewn quarry pits, vast debris fields, and toxic lakes. The surface was covered with junk droids that were cobbled together from the parts of the millions of discarded and broken droids left there. They followed no master and did not behave by any rules, which made the planet very dangerous. A common rumor was that the droids were working on something large so that they could escape Raxus Prime and spread out into the galaxy at large.

Blackwater Systems was a company opened on the planet of Falleen sometime before 24 BBY by the criminal Granta Omega and scientist Jenna Zan Arbor as a research and development facility for the Zone of Self-Containment drug. The company was known for ignoring environmental and safety laws, and was the target of a protest group that attempted to expose its illegal actions. In 24 BBY, several Jedi infiltrated Blackwater's factory, and Omega chose to destroy it rather than let his work be discovered.

The Sluis Van Shipyards were a series of orbital shipbuilding complexes stationed over the planet Sluis Van. The facility was considered to be the best of its kind in the Outer Rim Territories. However, because the Sluissi found shipbuilding to be akin to a form of art (in addition to their rather ponderous system of bureaucracy), they were also considered to be one of the slowest shipyards in the galaxy. The shipyards were at one point built up to encompass an entire world, similar to the Kuat Drive Yards and Mon Calamari Shipyards of later millennia.

The Tallaani Shipyards, also known as Tallaan Imperial Shipyards, were a number of shipyards in orbit of Tallaan and spread throughout the Tallaan system. The most important of these was located midpoint between Tallaan and its largest moon. The shipyards were made up of several hundred orbital docks, each able to service several dozen large ships or hundreds of smaller craft. Most of the docks themselves were over 200 years old by the time of the Rebellion era, and were continually being updated and revamped to keep them safe and up to current technological standards. The typical dock was manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation.

The Tagge Mining Company was a subsidiary company of Tagge Company. They maintained operations on Besero, Drarn, Terig, and Krann. They manufactured the AEA-500 mineral extractor.

VenteX Construction Yards was a shipwright that existed around the time of the Clone Wars. They were responsible for the construction of the Haven-class medical station used by the Galactic Republic during the war.

GalResource Industries was a subsidiary company of TaggeCo.

Trast Heavy Transports was a subsidiary of Tagge Company and was concerned with the production of armored transports. The company was known for the production of armored troop transports for the Imperial Army.

Rendili StarDrive was a starship-manufacturing company based on the planet Rendili. One of the ancient Founding Shipwrights, it was the primary supplier of ships to the Republic Navy for millennia until it was eclipsed in the final centuries of the Galactic Republic by Kuat Drive Yards. StarDrive was associated with companies such as Rendili Vehicle Corporation, Rendili/Vaufthau Shipyards LTD., and Rendili-Surron. Rendili Star Systems was apparently a subsidiary of Rendili StarDrive.

Vanjervalis Systems was a manufacturer of computer systems for the Galactic Republic during the Mandalorian Wars. Gorman Vandrayk worked for Vanjervalis at some point. Several years prior to the war, it created the concept of the Vanjervalis Chain, which allowed a group of Hammerhead-class cruisers to be linked to a single Inexpugnable-class tactical command ship, developed by Rendili/Vanjervalis Drive Yards.

Gowix Computers was a computer-manufacturing company headquartered on the planet Corellia for much of its history. Founded sometime before 300 BBY, it was acquired as a subsidiary of the Tagge Company in the years before the Clone Wars, and Gowix became a staunch supporter of the Galactic Republic and later the Galactic Empire, under its new parent company. However, privateer raids sanctioned by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War eventually forced Chief Executive Officer Gohn Danfeil to relocate the company to the planet Corulag.

Byblos was a planet in the Colonies known for its technological advances. Byblos also made a name for itself through the company BlasTech Industries, which was founded during the era of the Old Republic. At the time of the Galactic Empire, the planet was considered one of the busiest and most important planets in the Colonies. However, Byblos was affected by the suppression of several alien species that were declared slaves by the Empire.

Wookiee Trading Co. was a trade company on the planet of Kashyyyk at the time of the Galactic Civil War. Employees could be found, among other places, in Kachirho and a Rodian hunting camp near the Etyyy region. These Wookiees bought all kinds of things that adventurers acquired on their journeys through the Kashyyykian jungles.

The Vento system shipyards, also known as the Vento shipyards, were ancient shipyards that were located within the Core Worlds' Vento system and lay on the super-hyperroute known as the Perlemian Trade Route. The shipyards were used by the Galactic Republic during the Great Sith War—a conflict waged by the forces of the Sith sect against the Republic—and came under a Sith attack during their first offensive wave. During the final stages of the war, the Human Sith Lord Ulic Qel-Droma attempted to force a Republic military officer to transmit orders to the Republic fleet instructing all the fleet's starships to arrive at the coordinates of the Vento system shipyards—an action that would cause the destruction of many Republic vessels.

Bolzi Design & Transmogrification was an architectural firm managed by members of the Ugor species. In 84 BBY, the company built the luxury ports for the space station known as the Wheel, incorporating morphometric technology in its system, which represented a great scientific achievement at the time.

Among its goals, it sought to defeat both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. During the war, Maul rallied the forces of Death Watch, Black Sun, the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Clan, and the Nightbrothers to form a base of power. The Shadow Collective worked alongside Maul as he enacted a plan of revenge against Darth Sidious, but began to fragment after the Hutts abandoned him, with the Pykes and Black Sun severing ties following their defeat at the hands of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Karrel Engineering was a company that operated during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. When the Heroes of Cularin prevented a large comet from crashing into the planet Almas, Karrel Engineering gave them two high-quality tool kits as a way of thanking them.

Pricon Metals was a company that operated on the planet 244Core, in the Unknown Regions.

Cularin SpaceNav was a company that operated in the Cularin system during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Cularin SpaceNav maintained and analyzed live data about safe shipping routes through the Cularin comet cloud. Most of the data was supplied by the Comet Broom Service and was used by shipping. During the time of the Clone Wars, the Dark Jedi Garth Ezzar had an inaccuracy placed in some of the data supplied to Cularin SpaceNav by Comet Broom. The freighter Fricasseed Nerf was supplied with the faulty navigational data by SpaceNav and as a result, collided with a comet fragment.

The Gyndine shipyards were shipyards located at the administrative world of Gyndine. According to a report from a mole in the Pyke Syndicate that made its way to New Republic Intelligence Agent Caern Adan[1] around 5 ABY, a damaged Imperial Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier had arrived at the shipyards seeking assistance. Adan reviewed the report with his colleague Yrica Quell, the pair searching for leads on the activity of the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. Quell, believing the source was reliable but feeling that the information was insufficient, marking it with a medium-confidence indicator.

Binary Star Realty was a company that existed during the Galactic War that sold housing. Binary Star Realty first appeared as part of the Cartel Market in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Galactic Strongholds, a expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic released by BioWare in 2014.

Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. was an arms manufacturer that was active in the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War. It notably produced the 773 Firepuncher, the versatile MPL-57 grenade launcher, which was developed by the corporation in an effort to widen its market share, the B22 blaster pistol, the Power 5 blaster, the ELG-3A blaster pistol with SoroSuub Corporation, and the RPS-6 rocket launcher with Sienar Fleet Systems. Merr-Sonn also produced numerous explosive devices, including the Class-A thermal detonator, the C-25 and C-35 fragmentation grenades, and the LX-4 proton mine.

Galentro Heavy Works was a major conglomerate. They owned and operated the Jaemus shipyards, and controlled the government of Bescane. They were most famous for their starship design, the Enforcer-class picket cruiser. Galentro Armaments was a subsidiary company. They worked heavily in the Velcar Free Commerce Zone.

The Aakaash system was located in the Oplovis sector. According to Mostima, the population of the system was almost completely human with a population of 174.2 billion. It was largely independent from the Galactic Republic and was ruled by the Land & Sky Corporation. The system also had its own language that was remarked to be very difficult to learn.
