Other kids will never know what it is to be like a Cystic Fibrosis Kid. Whether you are the kid of A Cystic Fibrosis Warrior, watching the treatments, or seeing the ambulance pull up to the house. Or, YOU are the the CF KID!!! From that early age where the doctors are testing you trying to figure it out. They know, but they don't want to say anything to scare your parent(s). From there, it's a lifetime of doctors, breathing function tests, treatments three, four or more times a day. Vests and masks. You are taking so many pills when kids you age are chewing Flintstones vitamins. Needles. But! But! No, that's not stopping you! You fight to Breathe, and so you will fight to live!

Even though people with CF are living to an older age today compared to just a decade or two ago, we are still striving for a longer life expectancy and waiting for treatments that can allow for a better quality of life without several hours of treatments every day.
