This design of a raven is inspired in Edgar Allan Poe's work. The raven seems like curious at the world that it is seeing, reminding us how wonderful is this place where we live. This is an importantant reminder since sometimes I think that not many people care at all about our delicate ecosystem that is planet Earth. This curious raven is looking up to the sky at moonlight and thinking how humans treat the planet which makes it feel dreary even tho there is a huge full moon in the sky. Do you relate with the message that I left? What do you do to help the planet?

The rain keeps coming down, washing away the filth in it's path. I'm left wondering when the rain will come for me, too.

I've had a set of coloured inks that I've not had the chance to use on any projects yet, so just as an experiment I tested them out with this piece of Edgar Allan Poe and I'm pretty impressed with the results. To paint this, I used clear water to begin with painting out the figure, and then I would drop Scarlet ink and then blue ink onto the wet areas using a straw. The result is this amazing mixture of colours of reds, blues and purples, purple being the colour I was aiming for as a reference to The Raven and furthermore Baltimore.
