Fools should not be taken likely ~ this is a TARGETED species ~ and due to the economic demand ~ most often it is the FINS to GO first off the carcass...

Martha has 'remoras' ~ a type of sucker loach which attaches to the Whaleshark body and hitches a ride! Remoras act as 'symbiotic hosts' living on the Whaleshark, such size offers protection from other pelagic predators and in return 'remora' help preen Martha by removing any unwanted parasites such as ticks.
