The Brigade's units are designed to conduct combat operations in forest and swampy areas, and are staffed by military personnel with experience in combat operations or with civilian activities related to the specifics of the Brigade. During the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive, the brigade has been involved in Eastern Ukraine campaign in the Donetsk Oblast, Lyman direction. On June 11, alongside several territorial defence battalions, the brigade liberated the village of Blahodatne marking the first settlement to be liberated by Ukrainian forces during the counteroffensive

The 35th "Paratroopers" Brigade, a component of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), specializes in airborne infantry and plays a significant role in the Infantry Corps of the Israeli Ground Forces. With a history dating back to the 1950s, the brigade is known for executing special operations, and its soldiers don maroon berets adorned with the Infantry Corps pin, complemented by russet boots. As a distinctive tradition, brigade soldiers wear a tunic and belt over their shirts. Additionally, the IDF maintains four reserve paratrooper brigades, including the 55th, 226th, 551st [he], and 646th, comprising reservists who have completed their mandatory military service in the 35th Brigade.

The 84th "Givati" Brigade, formed in 1947 as an infantry brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), has played significant roles in various conflicts, including the 1948 Palestine war, Operation Cast Lead, Operation Protective Edge, and others. The 933rd "Nahal" Brigade, established in 1982, is a key infantry brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). It has played pivotal roles in major conflicts, including the First and Second Lebanon War and the First and Second Intifada. The brigade, identified by its light green berets, is formed from regular draftees and soldiers from the Nahal group, combining social volunteerism, agriculture, and military service. Operating on volatile borders and territories, it conducts patrol, observation, counter-terrorism, riot control, and tactical assault support to police operations. The brigade has faced historical challenges, including a tragic friendly-fire incident in 1982 and notable incidents during conflicts like the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.
