In the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, by George Orwell, the Thought Police (Thinkpol) are the secret police of the superstate Oceania, who discover and punish thoughtcrime, personal and political thoughts unapproved by the Party. George Orwell's concept of "thought policing" derived from the intellectual self-honesty shown by a person's "power of facing unpleasant facts".

The numbers to form the boogie party decade of the 1970s echo into each other covered in all golden shades of yellow like glowing discotheque neon lights as it journeys back to this glorious boogie era. I am a citizen of a dystopian society in the year 1984. I live in a world where freedom of thought and expression is suppressed by a totalitarian government. I am constantly monitored by the government and am expected to conform to its strict rules and regulations. I am constantly under the watchful eye of Big Brother and am expected to follow the Party's doctrine without question. I live in a world of fear, mistrust, and paranoia, where the government controls every aspect of my life.
