Shuffle your feet and lose your County Seat! Hustle on up with this classic design. The first County Seat store opened in Minneapolis in 1973 and was an offspring of the grocery store chain Super Valu Stores. County Seat grew to be one of the nation's largest mall-based specialty retailers of casual wear for teens and young adults with more than 630 jean stores in 46 states. Jeans and jean jackets account for more than 50 percent of the company's sales in 1993. Teens do their shopping in the malls, according to County Seat research, and the company expected its growth to continue with the growth of regional malls. The chain closed in 1999 following Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Ever hear of the Braxton County Monster? Maybe the Flatwoods Monster or Green Monster? If not you should have been around in 1952. It made headlines all over the US at a time when Cold War tensions were high and alien encounters were rare. This shirt features a rendering of the original 1952 police sketch of the monster based on, eye whiteness, Kathleen May's description. This shirt was designed by the lifelong central West Virginia native, Andrew Smith, who has lived in Braxton County for the majority of his life. So get your Braxton County Monster shirt right here from a devoted Braxton County resident. This design features the original 1952 drawing as well a road map of the area in and around the original sighting location. Also included in this design is the, now, iconic wooden sign that hangs at the town limits of Flatwoods, West Virginia, that countless monster fans have taken the pilgrimage to see and snap and selfie with. You find your time at the headquarters was often quiet and uneventful, unlike the very few instances of heading out into the field with your much more experienced colleagues. During a night shift you took your rounds after doing some paperwork, finding yourself stopping at a large portrait that hung in one of the corridors. The figure you see has a presence most ethereal, strong in their posture and with an intensity held in their rather peculiar eyes. There is no distinction as to who this is, or what artist may have been commissioned for it. You sense a feeling of calm yet uncertainty in your heart staring at it. Staring into those eyes. The only thing you see along with the large painting, is a small brass plaque that says: 𝓾𝓷𝓾𝓼 𝓭𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓺𝓾𝓲𝓼 𝓼𝓪𝓵𝓿𝓪𝓽𝓸𝓻 𝓹𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓽𝓾𝓻 𝓲𝓷 𝓪𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓷𝓾𝓶 𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓮𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓼
