Quote For Totes
Happiness rules! An inspiring quote that encourages positive thinking and action. They say that happiness is only real when it’s shared. Sharing, in turn, makes you bigger than you are. The more you pour out, the more life will be able to pour in. If you enjoy picture quotes in general, check out my "Wisdom Quotes Illustrated" series at Amazon. The first volume is permanently free.
Poet E.E. Cummings said, “It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” Many people try to fly under the radar and not attract attention. They mold their personality and beliefs to their surroundings and trade authenticity for the safety of being accepted. It doesn’t have to be that way. And what a great experience it is to meet someone who’s REAL!

The idea seems to be that if you let circumstances unsettle or even throw you off balance, you lose your overview and end up weaker. Abiding calm leaves you far better able to respond appropriately. Quotes about tranquility and calm abound. Some of my favorites stem from Far Eastern sages. For example . . . “Remain calm, serene, always in command of yourself. You will then find out how easy it is to get along. “ ~Paramahansa Yogananda “When we speak of a calm state of mind or peace of mind, we shouldn't confuse that with an insensitive state of apathy. Having a calm or peaceful state of mind doesn't mean being spaced out or completely empty. Peace of mind or a calm state of mind is rooted in affection and compassion and is sensitive and responsive to others.” ~Dalai Lama

Your opportunity to make a better tomorrow is . . . right now! Look at it this way: what you experienced today resulted from a long series of yesterdays. So it only makes sense that the actions you take today will either contribute to your progress tomorrow, or delay you. How could four words be more succinct?
