Let's face it - Catwoman is hot! The... aesthetic of the character along with my love of villains simply means that I wanted to do justice to this great character! That's why I wanted to do something special. A couple weeks ago I happened to drive past an older salon that still had the stereotypical window decals from the 80's featuring the work of Patrick Nagel (anyone around in the 80's/early 90's will know his work). I always loved his style, with his sharp, crisp lines, yet minimal details. I then completed a piece of the Penguin with a simple outline of his face (SHAMELESS PLUG: which happens to be available for purchase on my Etsy store: Nerd Prince), when my wife mentioned that it seemed a little Nagel-esque. That's when I realized that Catwoman would be the perfect subject for this style! This shirt is a must have for any comic book, Batman, DC Fan, 80's POP Art enthusiast, or graphic design nerd!

From 1989 to 1992, Michael Keaton WAS Batman and Tim Burton's interpretation of the world of Gotham City made it cool to be a Batfan again. Here we see Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman, Jack Nicholson's Joker and Danny DeVito's Penguin.
