This started life as a design concept for a client, but they went a different direction. I liked it so much I finished it, and here it is!

In 2011 I designed and printed one of the first shirts I ever produced myself, "I Like It Spooky", which has since been stolen and reproduced countless times across the web. So I figured I'd update the design and improve on it, and this is that!

This is the 3rd version of this design; I like to update it every few years to reflect where my head's at artistically, and because it's just fun to do! SPOOKY 4 LIFE YA'LL!

This was the image I created for the prompt "ZOMBIE".

As an artist who likes to draw and paint spooky things, I've mostly stayed away from depicting other people's characters. Then in the summer of 2015 I had this idea to do a series of portraits of characters that I like from movies and books centered around Halloween, and by mid-October I had completed 5. Fast forward to the Spring of 2017 and we have Series 2, featuring all female characters. This is Dani and Binx from the movie Hocus Pocus.

As an artist who likes to draw and paint spooky things, I've mostly stayed away from depicting other people's characters. Then in the summer of 2015 I had this idea to do a series of portraits of characters that I like from movies and books centered around Halloween, and by mid-October I had completed 5. This is Billy Butcherson from the Disney Halloween classic movie "Hocus Pocus".
