Description: Victoria Falls is named after Queen Victoria who visited the falls in 1877. The falls are located off the A832 on the south side of Loch Maree on the road north to Gairloch. The hike from the car park to the falls is a pleasant one, and affords a great view of Loch Maree to the north and Beinn Eighe to the south. Victoria Falls are situated on the Abhainn Garbhaig, a river that flows into Loch Maree from Loch Garbhaig.
