I'm working on an AOP vaporwave-inspired dedication to one of the greatest heavy metal records of the 90s, Strapping Young Lad's "City". This is the basic design of what I'll be doing. It's not at all a metal shirt. But if you're looking for a non-metal design to celebrate SYL, this is here in the meantime.

Dedicated to the 1985 World Series winning Kansas City Royals, I crafted this design from materials on what I would love to see a store sell as a throwback shirt to this championship team. But they generally don't sell throwbacks like this, so I decided to make my own for the fans who lost their originals, weren't old enough to remember, or weren't alive yet to witness their first World Series pennant. Also in an alt-design with blue font for lighter colors!

Nothing Records was an independent record label ran by Nine Inch Nails brainchild Trent Reznor from 1992 until a lawsuit led to its cease of operations in 2004. Nothing Records was distributed by Interscope Records, and owned by Universal Music Group. Finding any merch related to Nothing Records is near impossible today, making authentic pieces rare and expensive. For those of us who are nostalgic about the 90s-era of Nothing Records, this design serves as an inexpensive way to show your fandom of what the label produced for wel...

The Kansas City Kings were a former NBA basketball team originating as the Rochester Seagrams in 1923 before becoming a part of the NBA as the Rochester Royals in 1945, then eventually the Cleveland Royals before relocating to Kansas City in 1972, changing their team name to the Kings, as to not create confusion with the Kansas City Royals MLB baseball team, and officially starting as the Kansas City-Omaha Kings and eventually settling as just Kansas City Kings in 1975.
The team relocated to Sacramento, CA in 1985 and has remained there since, but Kansas City still holds a deep seat in its heart for the former team that consisted of star players such as Nate Archibald and Toby Kimball. The Kings are also one of the longest runnin...
