Designed by the Design Action Collective in Oakland, California, this work was commissioned to help Bay Area commuters empathize with their Palestinian friends who suffer an almost unimaginable commuting experience.
The rush hour experience at the BART Embarcadero station can be bad, but it pales in comparison to what Palestinians are forced to endure on a daily basis.
The illustration is subtle and powerful, and is designed to pique the interest of curious Bay Area citizens.
