Description: This was a painting I did in sketchbook #3 of a grass airplane runway for smaller planes. Around the runway was lots of tall grass. However, the runway itself was painted in the colors and shapes of dandelions. Their color was amplified by the overcast day and the heavy scent of rain.

Analog photography promised permanence, but some things exist only in the moment of recognizing they can't be photographed. The fox knows this. The camera keeps trying anyway. Vintage 70s photography club badge aesthetic meets the limits of documentation. A kawaii fox holding a 35mm camera, film strips floating, expression contemplative. Analog melancholy rendered in saturated retro colors. The irony is that the badge itself is the only proof. For those who shoot film because digital felt too easy and analog feels appropriately futile. The exposure is correct. The feeling is unframeable. The fox lowers the camera and continues. 35mm film cannot capture this feeling.
